With a history dating back over 1000 years, Buddhas Tears are made from premium quality white tea leaves scented with fresh jasmine blossoms.
Two delectable leaves and an unfurled bud are harvested, seived and hand rolled on bamboo trays in the presence of jasmine flowers. They are shaped into a round ball resembling a pearl.
When infused, the pearl slowly unfurls, releasing the jasmine aroma and revealing the bright green leaves. The resulting tea is champagne in colour and tastes soft and luxurious.
Purity you'd expect from white tea.
Brew: 4-6 pearls per cup for 1-3mins in 80-90° water. No need for milk
